Now, before I get the hardcore Dylan fans up in arms, let me start by saying I’m not NOT a Bob Dylan fan. I just didn’t know much about the man or the music before visiting the museum. That’s honestly why it took so long for me to finally visit a place that people have come from all over the world to see, and to experience what is objectively a very big deal in the music world. A Visit to the Wild Mustangs of Eastern Oklahoma
There are few things more peaceful to me than a relaxing drive out of the city to get into nature and out of my head. One of my favorite destinations is just outside of town, where I go to see the wild mustangs of Eastern Oklahoma. The herd of approximately 2,000 horses can be seen by travelers on the Creek Turnpike east of Tulsa, but I much prefer the slower drive on surface streets where I can enjoy the scenery at a more leisurely pace.
